Liverpool haven’t been overly active in the transfer market this summer and despite the exciting addition of Mohammed Salah, the fans will be hoping their club can surprise a few in the final week of the window and complete some top signings. In this article I take a look at four signings Liverpool are reportedly trying to complete before the window shuts, and take a look at what they would add to the club, if they did complete a move. The transfer market is moving fast, but at the time of writing, we are bringing you the latest news.
1 - Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
The Ox has been linked with a move to Liverpool all summer, but after Chelsea agreed on a fee with Arsenal for the player yesterday, it seemed this one had drifted from Klopp’s grasp. Now though, the player has seemingly turned down Chelsea as he wants to join Liverpool, but will the club be willing to match the £40million bid made by Chelsea? It also appears that the Ox turned down Chelsea because he wants to play in central midfield now, whilst Chelsea want him to continue to play as a wing back. Reports now suggest that Liverpool will make a decision on Oxlade-Chamberlain today.
