3 To Stay, 3 To Sell: What Arsenal Need To Do With 6 Transfer-Linked Men

Arsenal have spent their summer so far focusing on incoming transfer business but that’s likely to change in the coming weeks, with the Gunners seeing a wealth of interest in numerous players within their squad.

Arsene Wenger is very much determined to see any departures from the squad decided on his terms but interest from top sides from within the Premier League and from elsewhere in Europe may make things difficult for the Gunners.

Stay: Olivier Giroud

The French striker’s future has been cast into doubt following Arsenal’s club-record signing of Alexandre Lacazette and the likes of Everton, Marseille and West Ham have been attributed with interest in the services of the 30-year-old.

However, despite the signing of Lacazette, Arsenal are still quite short of striking options and Olivier Giroud is a key part of their side- particularly as he presents a quality alternative for Arsene Wenger’s side, which will be crucial in Arsenal’s involvement in the Europa League next season.

Giroud showed his worth off the bench in the FA Cup final with a superb assist for Aaron Ramsey’s winning goal and his competition for football with compatriot Lacazette could bring the best out of both strikers.
